All have been vaccinated but apparently had underlying conditions or were 60+ years old. I hope the treatments that have been approved the last couple days have a positive result on the virus since the vaccines may help but don't appear to be the end all. There is some discussion on the latest variant not being as severe and may not last as long. I read somewhere that it might already be dying out in South Africa. I have to go finish wrapping presents then going to visit parents for Christmas. We've also scaled back but have not completely eliminated things. Its just immediate family and not the big extended group. Family wanted an autopsy but balked when told of the price they’d have to pay since it’s not seemed necessary.
