mtutiger Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 So, anybody on the offense want to step up? 2 runs a game ain't gonna cut it every night Quote
BBFCFM Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 No doubt. We need to Dee an explosion. This offense has been anemic. Quote

mtutiger Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Nice swing by Grossman... I'm less concerned about him now anyway 1 Quote
Dtrain72 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Yep, Meadows - Baez > Schoop - Candy at the 2 and 3 spot...brutal. Quote

Too bad the 2 and 3 hitters are the equivalent of a fart in an elevator. Edited April 16, 2022 by Dtrain72 Quote
BBFCFM Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Jason Beck: According to Statcast, Robbie Grossman's 385-foot drive to RF would've been a home run in 28 of 30 ballparks, including Comerica Park. Kauffman Stadium is one of the other two. Tigers down 3-1 at 7th inning stretch. Quote
BBFCFM Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Eric Haase vs Scott Barlow #DetroitRoots Double 🏃💨 Exit velo: 105.8 mph Launch angle: 21 deg Proj. distance: 413 ft This would have been a home run in 15/30 MLB ballparks DET (1) @ KC (3) 🔺 8th Quote
Dtrain72 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Baddoo on deck...would rather see Garneu stay in there today tbh. Quote

Dtrain72 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Akil didnt have a chance against this guy before he even stepped in the box...not a great decision AJ, oh well, dogshit offense with 7 hits in two games is dogshit🤷♂️ Quote
mtutiger Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 They really did waste a lot of good pitching under not the greatest of circumstances today. It's a shame really Quote
BBFCFM Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 It is a shame. Hutchison really delivered today. Quote
Dave Christian Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 And here I thought that we could sweep the series. Quote
1984Echoes Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Need some extreme lineup measures... It's time to move Tork up to the cleanup spot. Until Baez heals, we have a hole in the 3-spot. We're stuck with Candy in the 3 spot until then I think. But I also think that Candy can be a pretty decent hitter and putting Tork behind him might help get him back on track. Just a guess... But in the 1-2 spot I'm looking at righty-lefty splits. That means against RH'ers it's Baddoo-Meadows, then Candy, Tork, Miggy? then choose the lesser evil of Castro, Barnhart, Grossman (or Reyes?), Schoop (against righties) for 6-9. Against LH'ers it's Reyes, Grossman, then Candy, Tork, Miggy, Schoop, then choose the lesser evil of Castro, Haase (or Garneau?), Grossman (or Cameron? or Meadows? or Baddoo in the 9th spot?) for 7-9. I can't wait for both Baez and Greene to be back in this lineup. 1 Quote

casimir Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 You know, considering the combination of injuries and poor offense, 4-5 ain’t too bad. Quote
