Cleanup in Aisle Lunatic (h/t romad1)

I guess she supports orphanages and work houses for children. She also opposes abortion, which raises the question if a parent is unable to raise the child who DOES she expect to care for them.

I have friends who have adopted, they are probably better parents because of what they have been thru, between not being able to have their own and the hoops they have to jump thru to adopt.

you know the funny thing, on a level playing field I bet the Disney lawyers are better at the law than this half-baked group of GOP SCOTUS apparatchiks. Sady the other side will get to make it up as they go.

"Apparatchiks". Perfect.

Aside from the ****tyness of it all, it's yet another piece of evidence that it's just bad politics.

This is why Russian-wing media are going ape**** over phantom violent attacks by trans people on freedom-loving Americans or something.

I'm mildly surprised that MTG didn't just shout down Rep. Garcia during his admonition of her attack on the witness, that she just sat silently for it. Or maybe I should be surprised by myself for actually expecting to hear it and being surprised that it didn't happen.

The norm of allowing other representatives to speak unimpeded is another one that might get busted at some point. Someone like an MTG would just need to volunteer to take a few bruises for being the first to do it, but after that, it would get easier and easier until there's no penalty for it at all.

“Why didn’t you call 9-1-1?”  “Why didn’t you report it?”  “Why didn’t you scream?”

Those questions ….

I hope that somewhere during that civil trial the statistics of what percentage of women who are sexually assaulted report it is presented.  Everyone handles it differently, because…… well, … because.

Some fight. Some don’t. Some can’t. Some won’t. Some relive it every day. Some tuck it away and deny it to themselves. Sometimes it takes another very mundane thing happening to have it come roaring back. Sometimes you heal. Sometimes, you’re destroyed.

Not the rednecks in her deep-red district and as long as they tolerate her, we'll all have to.

There should be a pop quiz for Congress - An American citizenship test.   if they can't pass it, they lose their seat.  You'd get rid of Greene and Boebert in a flash.  Neither one of them could pass a citizenship test.   I bet they couldn't even pass the point-to-a-state test.

Setting aside the bullet to the head, one walk through the Lincoln Library in Springfield dispels this notion... he faced probably more vitriol than any other President and it isn't close.

Aside from that, how was the play, Melania?
