Immediately after Trump becomes the official Republican Presidential nominee, all these squib Republicans who have NOT said they will vote for the Democratic Presidential nominee in November (in other words... said "anything else") will turn around and state: "I support the Republican Party and therefore will vote (holding my nose) for the Republican Presidential candidate in November." Every. Single. One of them.

Motor City Sonics
Sovereign Citizens. It doesn't really matter if you're a citizen of Michigan, Kansas, Spain, China or Dumbfukistan, you still need to follow the laws of the land. SovCidiots need to be forced to sign a pledge that they are not part of society and not a citizen, and when they do that includes being cut off from their power, water, banned from all roads -- you know, the stuff that society pays for. Then, they need to have deportation hearings start against them. I mean, if they aren't a citizen, then what are they doing here? Deport them to where? Doesn't matter, just not here. There are plenty of people who would love to be a U.S. Citizen. But here's where the true test comes in. Signing the pledge means they get cut off from all public assistance. That means no more Unemployment, Welfare, Disability, Medicare/Medicaid. None of it. You're on your own completely. Since most of these yahoos are unemployable or they all seem to have some sort of disability, they'd probably back down really quickly. I have a relative who is "disabled". His knees are really bad and he can't work. Not even a desk job? Nope. But he builds decks for cash all Spring/Summer. I am seriously thinking of taking pictures of him and turning him in. I'm tired of his Anti-Socialism Sov Cit bullspit. He's been living off the government for about 20 years. I work my arse off and I'm not complaining about that. I love my job, but even if I didn't - I sure wouldn't scam my way through life. And yes, he is very pro-Trump. Grifters stick together. Would it have been a bridge too far for 80% or 90% of the people who are still MAGA today? Or would the Trump cabal have successfully muddied who did the murdering, pinning it on Antifa and BLM (or “BLT”, as some Washington Journal callers might have called them), and caused more chaos than we have seen since? I think that might have gone either way 50-50. Edited May 15 by chasfh

In all likelihood the detail would be just murky enough that it would have changed nothing - a scenario where he went down the stairwell head first and one side maintains he was pushed/murdered and the other than he just tripped and fell so the prosecution is a which hunt....etc., etc.,,,,,,,
oblong
Initially the usual suspects would have said it’s horrible yada yada yada. Then slowly details would emerge to give them cover and they realize MAGA doesn’t care so they would chalk it up to gods will and worth the cost. They're against welfare..... but they themselves are on welfare. Of course, they're deserving of it, and prayed to get it. There's also a fairly famous author who was a Libertarian, but whose family benefited from the Homestead Act, and a whole lot of other supports from the government. Sigh.
