I thought I would stop by because I was curious if you guys supported the Freedom Truckers or not.  I don't know of any of my liberal friends who don't support them but I'm not surprised to see they have no support here.

I find it funny that Whitmer is complaining about workers losing their jobs and business shutting down.  You didn't hear a peep from her or her comrades about business being destroyed, people losing not only their jobs but their livelihood because of the antifa and blm rioting throughout the country.  We need to replace this facist regime in the White House and the State of Michigan.

Seriously, tho, lol at your half-assed attempt at getting "liberals" here to change their opinion of the disastrous trucker strike, which has cost the economy some $50 million dollars in lost wages stemming from productivity losses, by trying to tell us that you have liberal friends and that every one of them supports those truckers. You need to do a lot better than that.

In the end most of the industries - particularly auto - will be able to make it up. As long as capacity is greater than the total market - which it is, they'll eventually build all the cars they can sell. There will be some loss but the production loss estimates they throw around in cases like this are a little artificial. Now if you are selling groceries or gasoline and the guy down the street is open and you aren't, that's gonna hurt as those sales are gone forever,  but most people aren't going to change their choice of car over a week or so delivery delay.

If new car capacity is greater than the new car market.

Huh, turns out these folks don't speak for the people after all

Here's how that 33% breaks out:  15% strongly support.  That's about right I think, sadly.  I might have said 12%.  Next question:  do you "somewhat support the protests":  17%.  Because lots of people would support some relaxation of mandates - going to their health club, or ending restrictions at the cafe they own - but are appalled at the behaviour of the protesters.  So to add those two together and say "33% support" is grossly misleading by "Polling Canada", whoever the F they are.
