chasfh Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 Richard Donoghue’s testimony includes a whole lot of conspiracy stories that I had never even heard of. Quote

Like you are supposed to just stop at midnight or something. The sight of a bunch of west michigan and macomb county white people storming Cobo Hall demanding that they stop counting the votes of mostly black people. In 2020. Not 1876, not 1920.... 2020. They could have counted the write-in votes ahead of time. The Republicans didn't allow it because they wanted to make it look like the election was stolen. Edited June 13, 2022 by Tiger337 3 1 Quote

Tigerbomb13 Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 I know this is stating the obvious, but I still can’t believe how banana republic this stuff was. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 (edited) the interesting argument here is does it matter if he kept saying he didn't believe people. After all it's what he would say even if he did understand the facts but his strategy was to willfully deny them. Can the Costanza defense hold water in a court of law? CMRivdogs Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 It seems the current Trumper reaction is something like "but gas prices, inflation" As if one committee could actually wave a magic wand. Quote

Yep, there is no reason why local clerk's offices can start counting mail-in/absentee votes before Election Day. If someone wants their ballot back they can simply find that ballot number, spoil the ballot, and allow the person to revote with a new ballot. Additionally, if, like Trump, you are worried about votes being counted over night and into the early morning hours, you can allow Clerks to count them prior to Election Day as they come in. Quote
chasfh Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 (edited) Benjamin Ginsburg, Republican Elections Attorney. Very direct, confident, and adamant that all Trump claims were baseless. Clearly he must be a globalist agent of the deep state. 😏 Edited June 13, 2022 by chasfh Quote
chasfh Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 Now we’re getting to the money fraud part … Quote
chasfh Posted June 13, 2022 Author Posted June 13, 2022 Trump raised almost $250 million, $150 million in the first week after the election, on claims of election fraud that they knew to be false. That sounds like fraud itself to me! 3 Quote

That's basically what they did in Michigan for the Democratic primary. Especially since two candidates dropped out days before the primary. I'm not sure of the votes were counted in advanced at the registrars office though. Meanwhile in the general, Republican controlled legislatures like Pennsylvania passed laws forbidding early counting of mail in votes (the Pa Legislators championed voting by mail early in the pandemic. Until Trump said differently. Quote

CMRivdogs Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 This is as big of a crime as the lies leading up to 1/6. This puts him into the TV Evangelist category. Just shows how much he despises the poor folks who voted for him. If he does run again I'd make it the cornerstone of my campaign. He lied and swindled you.... Quote
