Yeah, this is not going to end well ...

well, he can't very well admit in public that his advertisers are holding back because *his* pronouncements about his plans for the service have been the loose cannon for the last several months.  🤷‍♀️

I have given very little thought to the notion that corrupt Republicans in power would use that power to punish corporations and people for not being 100% MAGA themselves.

Whose speech is being denied?  It’s a business transaction

That's what I've never understood. Businesses are smart to not advertise if they think the association will hurt their sales.

Also it seems like some people think free speech means nobody has the right to challenge them.

And that the 1st Amendment had a clause within it that insulates oneself from the consequences of speech. (It does not)

Elon Musk or Josh Holmes or whoever all have the right to free speech. And because of the same 1st Amendment, the rest of us all have the right to call them out, or to not do business with them, etc. Same with advertisers.

At its most basic, it's just a reaction to the change of culture. And that much of it doesn't have much use for their vision of the world.

We sure are moving to the “assassinate neighbors who vote for Democrats” phase in a hurry.

I still proudly display all my signs for Whitmer/Gilchrist, Nessel, Benson, Kyra Harris Bolden, and Prop 3 in my yard.

Me too. I also live in Ann Arbor though so half the homes in our neighborhood have them.

Does this mean he supports open borders?

From the polling data I've been reading the Extra Terrestrial vote is slated to turn out big. But I heard ET was voting blue, no matter who!
