chasfh Posted December 6, 2022 Author Posted December 6, 2022 All this proves to the red hats is what corrupted deep state cucks the judiciary are. That whole party is going to run in 2024 on reforming the judiciary. It might work. Quote
1984Echoes Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 I doubt it. Trump will be taking more hits/ stains on his qualities as a presidential candidate that the GOP is going to try and hide from, not flaunt, his legal problems. They already lost big when trying to tie themselves to Trump's fraudulent fraud claims and now, they are going to try to tie themselves to Trump's legal problems? They got their judges... I think at this point they do the opposite and avoid judiciary commentary like a hot potato; instead, resting on their 110 conservative/ Trump-political-hack-specialist judges that they placed in the system... Just my 2 cents. Quote
1984Echoes Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 And it looks like the Jan 6th committee is talking about specifically recommending charges against Trump, not just some of the coup-attackers... He's going to become a major, major hot potato... Quote

It seems like this tax fraud conviction against the Trump Organization is likely to be groundwork for some criminal prosecutions against the principals of said organization. Stay tuned. Quote

Just my 2 cents. Well, Trump definitely wants to "reform the judiciary" so he can pack it with friendly judges who will tickle his sac while hammering his enemies. He couldn't give less of a shit about abortion law or any of that. The rest of the party, though, cares very deeply about abortion law, and election law, and corporate law, and anything else that will get them elected, keep them elected, and make them all wealthy and powerful beyond their wildest dreams. There are still a boatload of Dem-appointed liberal judges they would like to run off the bench and replace with hacks who graduated law from Tier 5 safety schools, a situation they covet that has nothing to do with Trump's interests, at least not directly. Get the right judges on the bench, and all of a sudden those voter fraud lawsuits are gonna start breaking their way. Quote

Probably. But my point remains... Talking loudly about "judicial reforms" has already triggered Dems & Independents in a huge way. They already have come to realize that Republicans talking about "judiciary" and "abortion law" means outlawing abortion, and "election law" means Republicans attempting to overthrow our democracy. They might run on the judiciary in 2024, but I think I am correct in stating that that will be a quiet under-the-radar message and not a loud platform message. IMO: they are going to be VERY careful on messaging around that topic... Quote

Hearing the same thing out of Israel that Netanyahu wants the judiciary defanged to where they would not have have review power over legislation - or cases against PMs. Quote

They may or may not be able to help themselves because they need to go crazy-pants to get the most extreme part of their base to show up and give them their votes. It’s kind of a quandary. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 At last night's Detroit Symphony Orchestra's performance of a Charlie Brown Christmas somebody in the audience yelled out a racial slur near the end of the performance. Isn't that nice............a Christmas concert.........probably with a fair amount of kids in the audience. They are trying to figure out who the person is and that person will be banned for life from DSO performances. Something tells me they won't miss that, since I doubt they are into that kind of thing on a regular basis. I hope they figure it out..............Publicly name them...........and I hope they lose their fucking job over it. I am all for ruining people like that. Sickening. stuff this blatant was not happening before 2016. 1 Quote
