You can tell them all the "patriotic" things they are parroting are coming straight out of Beijing or Tehran or St Petersburg, but it doesn't matter, because it already triggers what they believe, and that's the important part.

Here for less than one day, and he's insulting people.  It would be nice, for balance, if a couple of more thoughtful conservatives joined the board, but it has not happened in recent memory.

social media is the gift that keeps on giving to russia, iran, and china.  any country whose foreign policy objective is to divide america.  cause its working.

Yes, but there are actual factories where workers in Russia produce "hilarious" memes for use to disrupt the people of the democracies.  It has been documented and it has had massive impact.

He strikes me as the kind of guy who spent the better part of the incident speculating on the characteristics of the suspect and whether he could shoehorn in a political angle and score some points. Rather than, like normal people, being horrified by what happened and for the loss of life.

Exactly.  Everybody believes that once he tried to run over his child's mother that he probably should have been in jail.  I don't know anyone who is arguing anything differently.   The justice system failed everyone here.    

Rick Wershe, as far as we know, never even threw a punch at someone, in prison for 27 years (after risking his life to be an informant).
