Shades of Deivi Cruz
I didn't know LL Cool J was still doing music, but his new song with Eminem is great (Murdergram Deux).
Motor City Sonics
So I often make fun of Robert Smith of The Cure for how perfectionist he is and how he has to do and re-do his vocals 1,000 times before releasing a new Cure album. Thinking it would never happen I pledged on the air that if the Cure releases an ablum in 2024...........I will dress up like Robert Smith that day. The hair and the makeup. Looks like The Cure is releasing a new album in November. I'll send pictures.
Hongbit
You should have a day where you dress up as Perry Ferrell. He’s apparently been a drunken mess all throughout this tour.

Motor City Sonics
We've been giving tickets away for Jane's Addiction / Love & Rockets next Friday If they cancel I'll get 2 or 3 winners that insist we owe them something. We don't.

Did you read Doughty's "Book of Drugs" ? He did not speak kindly of his Soul Coughing experience............but then again, he was on drugs. I haven't read it, but I'm aware of his (past) animosity and that he blamed the others for getting him into heroin. glad they've patched things up, anyway, even if only so they can do a reunion tour. it was a fun show, and I went with my friend who had missed seeing them live in the '90s, so good stuff all around. antrat
I'm normally an indie, folk, country guy but I have been listening to a lot of heavy rock lately. Blacktop Mojo does an amazing job covering Aerosmith's Dream On. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF9dCWmq3pM

I recall a bunch of movement among bands during that period that seemed like that of California professional sports teams. [edit: not seeing that they did that but am seeing that the drummer Blair Cunningham on a bunch of their songs was a classic session drummer with a lot of credits to various bands] Quote Blair Cunningham (born October 11, 1957, Memphis, Tennessee) is an American drummer who has played for many bands and artists including Denise LaSalle, Robert Johnson, the Detroit Emeralds, Frederick Knight, Echo & the Bunnymen,[1] Haircut One Hundred,[2] John Foxx, The Pretenders,[2] Paul McCartney,[3] Alison Moyet, Sade, Paul Rutherford, Indigo Girls, Roxy Music, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Mick Jagger, Ray Davis, Andy Taylor, Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Kevin Rowland and the Big Dish. He played drums at a one-off gig by Sharks, and on "All Things Are Nice" and "My Baby" from Blancmange's album Mange Tout.
