Quite a production for a band that I would have never thought could fill LCA. Every AJR song I've heard is super catchy. I wish my daughter would have wanted to go to that show... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 I just don't know why every time Kendrick Lamar and Drake fart in each other's direction it has to be breaking news on every ****ing music site. Who ****ing cares? Ooooh, two guys don't like each other. That isn't interesting. Quote

Shades of Deivi Cruz Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 The only music news that matters is that there's a new Eminem album this Friday. Quote
Hongbit Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Eminem will have a battle on his hands for that Billboard top spot as the 16th Phish studio album comes out on Friday🫢. There’s a good chance this one may go Silver or Gold. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 speaking of the Old 97's, as we were in this thread recently, today my manager used the word "jagged" in a meeting, and I suddenly kind of remembered that the Old 97's might have a song called that, so I went hunting and found it. I'd actually completely forgotten about it despite it being totally ass-beating, so it blew my mind to hear it again. Quote

Biff Mayhem Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Slash released a blues/r&b album and collaborated with some big names. Top to bottom it’s phenomenal. This is from someone who can take or leave Slash. Killing Floor is the biggest surprise. 1 Quote

lordstanley Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Zach Bryan's Pink Skies is all over TikTok. Everyone is adding personalized videos of loved ones who have passed or family homes that have been sold. There's a song called Assassination on it? I'm sure he'll get torn apart over that one, even if it was pressed 6 weeks ago. Will he be forced to start a new band with Kyle? Quote

I plan on listening tonight after HOTD again, i'll try and focus on it. (Weird thing, for most music I really need to pay attention to hear the lyrics, otherwise I just catch portions of it. Sort of like trying to carry on a conversation at a bar where there is a live band playing, I hear just bits and pieces.) There are no song names, not sure if they have released those yet. Quote
chasfh Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 I'm listening to the worst goddamn earworm I can imagine at the moment: "Sweet Sally", Ted Nugent, off Cat Scratch Fever. ARRRGH! God, please, either kill me or make it stop! Quote
