Stanley70
Didn't sound like he was excited to be a Lion.
Mr.TaterSalad
Just now, buddha said: me neither. trading up to get an injured receiver? It's weird that Holmes waited until round 4 to get his WR last year and this year trades up for one.
Motown Bombers
So the Lions move up 20 spots in the 1st, move back in the 2nd 12 spots and only gave up a 3rd? I like it.
TP_Fan
I mean, come The hell on. What did this cost them? Move down 12 spots in the 2nd round and a 3rd rounder. Incredible value for Detroit.

buddha
did i really just see an ad for the nfl that said football is queer? lol. welcome to 2022.
RandyMarsh
It's "just" an ACL and he was clearly the top WR before the injury. He's a guy that can make a Jamar Chase like impact on an offense. It essentially costed a 3rd and 14 spots in the 2nd, not a major amount to give up to get a premium talent like that.

It’s an extremely savvy move. I’m just elated.

sagnam
What if the Lions jumped the Eagles and took their guy again?
RandyMarsh
According to PFF the Lions got the best defensive player and best non tackle offensive player. Impact guys like that is what you need!

Motown Bombers
Still no safety taken. There could be a decent safety available at 46.

Jason_R
In all the thousand mock drafts that got done, I’d like to see if there was one that had the Lions trading up for Williams at 12.

RandyMarsh
Of course the top safety falls right in the Ravens lap. Seems like things like that always happen to them.
buddha
too slow to be a safety, too small to be a linebacker...
