buddha
new england takes what they get and makes a good team out of it almost every year. let's give belichick his due, he's probably the best coach in nfl history. but on paper, their drafts are never rated highly. 1984Echoes
Looks like an H-Back, willing blocker but undersized, good in the open field, has some upside/ development... so... We'll see.

Like you say, he's not exactly undersized but, just a bit for taking on big DE's... (scout reports say he's a bit lean and doesn't use his hands as well as he could so... still some upside there...) 1984Echoes
Added at a 7th-rounder at #237 to drop 7 spots...
sagnam
Wild. Trades in the 6th and 7th round just seem so strange. Wonder what the Eagles see. Maybe they are afraid of a run on punters.
Motown Bombers
Seems more of a pass catching option and I'm fine with that. The Lions have two good tackles. They don't need a blocking TE. I like adding another passing threat.

1984Echoes
Former safety and he's fast/ quick per reports so... maybe some coverage ability vs. RB's and TE's...
Motown Bombers
I looked up Rodriguez and Tavai's scouting reports, and Tavai was projected as a 5th rounder and Rodriguez a 4th rounder. 1

NYLion
I really like these later round picks. Mitchell would have gone higher if not for his injury and they badly needed a tight end and Rodriguez is small but he's athletic and is pretty good in coverage. Big fan of the Joseph pick last night. They needed a playmaker at safety alongside Walker who is more of a thumper and Joseph is a ball hawk. I think Holmes is slaying this draft. I hope they take a chance on Carson Strong with one of these two picks. He has arguably the strongest (pun intended) arms in the draft. The issue is mobility and potential chronic knee issues but in the 6th/7th, why the hell not? Edited April 30, 2022 by NYLion

And isn't that a telling aspect of the difference between Quinn and Holmes. Or, if preferred... A straight up indictment of Quinntricia.
