By every metric he was far and away the winner, but before it came down to the last decision the producers asked Penn if he would endorse Trump if he ran for President and when Penn said No, Trace Adkins was declared the winner. To take it a step further. Penn Jillette never ever endorsed a Republican or Democrat for anything in his life until Trump ran in 2016 and Penn said he had no problem at all completely endorsing Hilary Clinton (and he doesn't even like her). The episode where they were serving meals in a fancy restaurant but they were just frozen dinners made to look pretty - that was brilliant. The actor who played the waiter in that was brilliant. They brought several couples to a (fake) restaurant to sample top of the line food. One person in each couple was in on the gag. They were just serving frozen meals.
