It may not make much of a difference in terms of control of the House / Senate when things are all said and done (given that it's a midterm with Ds in power), but the disconnect between the wants/desires of GOP Primary voters and general election voters in general is playing out in real time as we speak.

Certainly one doesn't want to take credit away from Fetterman, Warnock, Ryan or even Barnes, but no doubt their candidacies have been aided by the GOP Primary voter elevating less than ideal candidates to compete for general election votes.

I think part of the success of Fetterman et.al., is the degree to which people are totally fed up with the screeching self-indulgent, entitled asses on the far right thinking they represent the main stream.  I get that "woke" isn't selling with GOP primary voters but white power and anti-science isn't selling with the mainstream and this group of clowns that has been elevated by the Trump party is really falling on its ass.

If you showed me a picture of Fetterman and told me to guess what party he belonged to, I would easily guess he was a Trumper. He's white, enormous, middle aged, bald head, goatee, tattoos and dresses like a slob. I can see how he would appeal to Appalachia more than the wealthy doctor from New Jersey who eats crudité.

nothing in the Constitution says you have to let him out if he won, and this is an original text SCOTUS.

That might be just what the old school Republicans want.  He gets them back in power but doesn't get in their way!

Trying to guess the Fox News spin tonight.

*He’s the President so he had the highest clearance anyway.  Nothing is top secret to him.

*He was protecting important documents to safeguard America from the new administration which can’t be trusted

*They were his in the first place and he should be able to keep him even if the law says otherwise

*They we’re kept in a locked location and not on some unprotected random email server that anyone could’ve hacked into.
