If anything, going this far and then not indicting Trump would be political suicide for Bragg. The only reason I can think of he hasn't moved yet is that they need to make sure the case is airtight, because when they do indict, they have exactly one chance to get it right and get the conviction.

He's slowly spiralling out of control. His inhibition level just keeps dropping. The only question is whether he gets to 'crash and burn' before he runs out of rope with the legal system or creates some other catastrophe first.
