Tarik Skubal has the longest scoreless streak by a Tigers starter since 2016. He's at 18 thru four innings tonight in Cleveland.

Not a good sign that he took himself.

It could mean that he's smart.  It was his push off leg that he hurt. Even if it's nothing serious, he can't go out there with his leg hurting.

So down and in is supposed to be a left hand hitter's happy zone, esp from a RHP, but it's consistent death for W. Castro. Another guy like Niko that probably never should have become a switch hitter.

We can hope. Doesn't seem likely the damage to the tibia would be worse than a bruise but if it was high enough to get a knee ligament that might be worse.

It looked like it got him square on the tibia.  It reminded me of what happened to Jose Ramirez yesterday.
