gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) bad route by Clemens - cost a run and extends the inning. He needs a hit now to redeem himself. Edited June 2, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote
SoCalTiger Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Hinch playing Clemens in Left bites us. Nice circular route. Quote
SoCalTiger Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Hope Roger is happy Hinchie played his son. Not fair comment but he keeps playing people out of position. We started winning when our defense tightened up. Should be 1-1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 bad break for Tork. Should have hit that one last time. /...sigh..../ Quote

gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 He labored some but that is his 6th two run start. Really can't complain about that. Quote

mtutiger Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Haase is really costing this team with his throwing arm.... Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 not sure why Morris is defending Haase on a throw Schoop had to try to jump over the runner to get. Quote

Dtrain72 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Offense was due to go full but hole against what's been a bad pitcher so far this season. Quote

Dingler not doing much with the bat at AA, Rogers not ready for a while. Lavarnway is hitting a little at Toledo but I don't know anything about whether he can play the position at MLB level. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) What's hurting is that Cabrera has cooled off again. He's still the only hitter we have who can even get close to 'carrying' the team. Maybe Tork gets there, but not there yet. Edited June 2, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote

One of the things that attracted me about Baez is I thought he could be a guy like that when he went on one of his hot streaks but of course that has yet to happen. Like Baez, Upton was known to be a streaky hitter and iirc he struggled the first 3 or 4 months his first year here but then around August he blew up and damn near carried the offense to a WC berth that year. Hopefully Baez will eventually do something similar. Edited June 2, 2022 by RandyMarsh Quote
mtutiger Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 DAZ!!!!! Decided to hit it a little further this time! 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Oh Lord. And Jack called it. We will never hear the end of it. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Yes! Love hitting refresh on the gamecsst and seeing we took the lead! Didn't expect it to be Daz that did it though! Quote

Daz hit that bomb against Liam Hendriks last year after that rain delay.... he's got some magic in that bat at times Edited June 2, 2022 by mtutiger Quote

RandyMarsh Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Damn he hit it to the big boy part of the field too! Quote
