gehringer_2 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Hopefully next time Hinch has an itch to PH with Daz he'll use some Preparation H on it. 1 1 Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) this would be a great place for Schoop to break out of his slump. too bad he probably won't. Edited September 25, 2021 by Crazy Cat Gentleman Quote
gehringer_2 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Schoop is the oddest hitter. When he is slumping it looks like there is no way he should ever have gotten to the majors at all, and when he is on, he's fricking Ted Williams. Where does it come and go to? Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 good, good, another leadoff triple for KC. and a sac fly. Quote
romad1 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 this game has miracle finish written all over it. Perhaps the deity will stop a nuclear bomb from going off. Quote

I couldn't get day games, but the Reception was pretty good on clear nights. At times I had to hold the radio a certain way in order to get the games. Other times I had to figure out what was going on through the static. I got to be pretty good at following the game for an inning or two just hearing the intonation of Harwell's voice, the crowd sounds and the timing of commercials through the static. So, just where the hell have you been? Quote

IdahoBert Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Like a coward I gave up on this game when what’s his face was thrown out at third. and unlike many times when I turn tail and run there was no dramatic comeback. But all is good. It’s just one game. Scarlett O'Hara: I'll think about that tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day. As God is my witness, I'll never go hungry again! ME: See you all tomorrow. Quote
Jim Cowan Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 I hope that at some point on the weekend the circumstances are just right for burying a fastball in Merrifield's ribs. Quote

But we should do something. I was thinking of a nuclear strike but I have a really good friend who lives in KC and they have really good barbecue too. So that’s off the table. Quote
Jim Cowan Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 A fastball that has to be surgically extracted. Quote
