Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 woohoo, rain! I have an MST3k episode premiere to watch anyway. plus this game sucks. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Thanks for the rain, God. June has sucked so far. Quote
mtutiger Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Just now, Motor City Sonics said: They kind of had them..............They haven't expected guys to go very long. Kind of inbetween. They really haven't at all. And they have had two off days this week. The bullpen isn't overworked right now. I get trying to get Elvin through this start w/o a bullpen game, but the beatwriters writing stories about how Rony would be the first guy to lose his spot kinda pisses me off and insults my intelligence given how the other option was caught tipping his pitches and giving up 10 runs last start Quote
Dtrain72 Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Lol, radio guys "boy here comes the rain, people heading to the exits"...it's not because of the rain guys... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Was Jake Rogers ever a pitcher? Odd to see non-pitchers getting TJ. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Funny, the team playing on the scoreboard video is winning easy tonight Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 It sucks how good teams have such an unfair advantage over lesser teams. Quote

kdog Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Baez whiffed on a curveball...not a slider. He's growing. Quote
mtutiger Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 How many wins would having Isaac Paredes (over Austin Meadows) have given the Tigers this year? Bear in mind that he probably wouldn't have been called up until Candelario's injury? They would still be ****ed, if not worse. Quote
kdog Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 (edited) Paredes doing well is about the Tigers being cursed...but Avila's reign of terror needs to end for this to turn around. The lack of slugging on this team is a systemic failure that they will have to look at after the season. You just can't attribute it to bad luck. Edited June 11, 2022 by kdog Quote
kdog Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Harold Castro and Miguel Cabrera have had the only decent offensive seasons on this team. The rest have been below replacement level and have made no adjustments or improvements. Tork has a decent swing and then does nothing for 3 games. Schoop hasn't even reached a .600 OPS, Baez exists, the catching position is sub-sub replacement level. Man they have a lot of work to do to fix this lineup. Quote
