The rest have been below replacement level and have made no adjustments or improvements. Tork has a decent swing and then does nothing for 3 games. Schoop hasn't even reached a .600 OPS, Baez exists, the catching position is sub-sub replacement level. Man they have a lot of work to do to fix this lineup. At some point you have to question the prep the hitters are doing. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Think of all the energy the Blue Jays are wasting tonight. Quote

Dtrain72 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Man, if our pitching wasnt letting us down by giving up runs tonight, we'd be in this game! Quote

kdog Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Joe Jimenez has found himself right in time to be traded for a middling prospect. Quote
romad1 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 seeing Akil and Riley in that commercial...weird. Quote
romad1 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 The level of giddiness on this broadcast for the game situation for a home game (almost typed home blame). Quote

chasfh Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Well, that’s it for Robbie Grossman for who knows how long. Quote
SoCalTiger Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 It seems everything Al does backfires. I admit thinking his off season moves were solid. Barnhart Baez Erod Meadows extending Schoop Grossman year before. Badoo crashing. Snake eyes on all of them. Now Mize. Manning next ? Mayer killing it for Boston in the minors and Jobe looking pedestrian. So I don’t know what to think of Al. Quote

chasfh Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 (edited) It sucks to see him go down like that, but in the final analysis, Robbie Grossman is a 32-year-old veteran of slight talents who had an outlier career period in 2020-21. He didn’t have any future with the team anyway. In a lost season, this is a meh loss. Edited June 11, 2022 by chasfh Quote
