Sports_Freak Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Tigers pitchers holding this Toronto lineup to 1 run is impressive. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I thought when this season started that I thought Victor Reyes could actually be a pretty good player. Wait until he develops some power. Quote

mtutiger Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 This was a very good win today... executed a fairly good game plan against Gausman, even if they didn't score a bunch. And Brieske pitched well enough even with the hard contact. Quote

Part of me wants to rewatch his ABs today and see if he was doing anything differently or if Gausman, etc. were just too far out of the strikezone to be tempting Quote
buddha Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 hail fetter, full of grace the lord is with thee blessed art thou among coaches, and blessed is the fruit of thy efforts: the bullpen. 1 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Congrats on the win but I just have to point out something I just realized. We have not hit a HR since Daz hit the go ahead homer in the 8th all the way back on June 2nd 10 games ago! 2 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 On a positive note, it's crazy to look at a Tigers box score and see all 4 relievers used with ERAs at 2.50 or lower. Plus aside from them 4 we have Vest, Lange and Peralta with sub 2s and even Jimenez is at a respectable 3.10 with a sub 1 WHIP. That's 8 deep out of the bullpen! Yes some of these guys will surely regress but even if a few do that is still amazing to have that many guys having great seasons. 1 Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I wonder what the limit is for innings for Faedo and Brieske this season? Quote
Tigermojo Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Blue Jays tired themselves out yesterday running the bases. Skubal tomorrow for the series victory! Quote

Usually the more a BP is exposed, the worse they get. This BP may be for real. Quote

It reminds of that flukey Royals team that won the World Series a several years primarily because of their bullpen. Quote
