Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'm in Pittsfield and not in the City so I don't think that stuff is on my ballot. As a new Ann Arbor resident, what’s the scoop on Taylor? Quote

If it too big for where a developer wants to put it, Taylor is all in for it. His dream seems to be to turn a town with no road or transportation net into Manhattan. oblong Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Today I voted in the GOP primary. The D side was uneventful. This morning I saw one of my fundamentalist GOP nutjob friends (who I do love dearly) mention who they’d be voting for if they still lived here. I looked at his page and yeah he’s a goof. So I voted for him. Thought about Rinke or Kelly. I think Tudor’s got the only real shot at winning. totally ethical on my part to do that. They are asking me who I want the GOP nominee to be. I answered. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I voted in the Democratic primary. I was literally the only one at the polling place. Only thing of note to vote for was my congressional district. I voted for Carl Marlinga since he stands the best chance of beating John James. Pretty much state senate and house were unopposed. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Whitmer is unopposed and has 4 times as many votes as all the Republicans combined. In going to assume it's because of early/mail voting. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Not looking good for Andy Levin. Goes to show the yard sign polling doesn't work. I was in Huntington Woods to sign the abortion petition and Levin signs far outnumbered Stevens signs. It would make sense giving Huntington Woods is a Jewish city I suppose. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Stevens is strong in the west side of the district...F Hills, Plymouth, Canton, etc... Quote
pfife Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 So is Turder Dixons only qualification that she runs her mouth about politics? Quote
pfife Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 It's awesome that slump endorsed 2 losers in the same race 🤣 Quote
mtutiger Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Rarely does an election shock me, but this one does. Particularly the margins! Quote

romad1 Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Peter Meijer might hang on! That's a huge victory for sanity. Quote
