Tarik was due for a bad day, but it's the fact that there's little reason for hope that the offense can claw back much of any of the deficit that bothers me

Reyes isn’t a center fielder and meadows is a horrendous defender.

Years into the rebuild victor reyes and Harold castro are pillars of our offense.

Wait, this is still a rebuild?!  But the owner and GM said the rebuild was over...

The Tigers are in the midst of a seven-game homer drought. Longest since 2001. An 8-game drought would be the longest streak since 1989 (10 games).

Truly pathetic. Question, what do y’all have against McCosky?

Thanks for that information!

I had just been wondering about those stats.

Individual hitters like schoop and Baez string together a few good games. Then they revert back to horrendous approach and execution for a week. I guess the same applies to tork, meadows, grossman, and the catching black hole.

You cant fire all the players at once.

Well there ain't much Tigers baseball to talk about.

Dan and Jim don’t seem to have any problems talking about baseball during the game.

So you like seeing that kind of thing?

Another good AB for Javy. If he can be patient like this, he will be fine.

It appears to me that his approach is different. Almost like he's picking a quadrant of the plate and not swinging if a pitch is outside or something

Or maybe Javy simply figured out that he shouldnt swing at anything until he has two strikes, which most pitchers wont do as they know he'll swing at even intentional walk pitches 6 feet outside these days.  It's almost like, not always swinging at everything will like, maybe, make pitchers eventually start to throw pitches in the zone that are hittable...it's just crazy enough that it might work?
