I can't say I agree with calling that timeout before the 4th down play unless it was needed for an injured player. We had the Ravens all out of sorts and that timeout just allowed them to regroup and pick the exact play they wanted. Plus we chose to rush 3 after getting pressure on him most of the day.

LOL Fox saying this is the biggest game Matthew Stafford has ever played in. Guess that final game of the season with the division title on the line against Green Bay doesn't compare to a week 3 game against Tampa.

Against the Super Bowl Champs on a team that has a legitimate chance of dethroning them as NFC Champs. I agree, Stafford's biggest game.

Detroit Lions football - as I have said for decades - is the greatest program in television history!

You always know the ending but how they get there is something to behold!

I mean, not only did it break a record (just like Tom Dempsey did vs. the Lions), but it hit the crossbar, went straight up in the air..........wobbled up there for about 45 seconds (actually 1.3 seconds that felt like 45) but then fell on the other side of the crossbar.    It's fucking poetic, man.    The drama of it all.       The most Lionesque loss of all time?    I don't know, but it was a beauty.

(I do feel bad for Dan Campbell, his defense was vastly better today).
