Looked like a triple to me. I didn’t see him bobble it on replay. Looked to me like it bounced around that weird corner out there.

But seriously, I hadn’t seen the live play, just the replay, and you can see here that the camera angle hides the bobble behind his body. But on the “live” play during this replay, it’s a different camera and you can more clearly see the bobble.

man, I would just love to have Alex Avila in the radio booth full-time. can't really fault him for wanting to stay home with his kids, but maybe in a few years or something he'll be ready to hit the road again.
