If Trump were deported or ran away... he wouldn't go to Qatar, Kuwait, or UAE.. he would HATE that. It would still be Russia. He would LOVE Russia. For the oligarchy. For the corruption. As long as he could be a "friend" of Putin... he'd milk it for all it's worth. And he would fall all over himself with Russian models/ prostitutes/ whomever he could get to surround him in "Trump Tower Moscow". Even though Putin would not respect him, at all... Putin would benefit HUGELY by having Trump there: (A) An American President ran away to RUSSIA. The propaganda would be immense. (B) He'd give Trump a "Tower" in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. Trump would love it. (C) He'd also have Trump develop casinos and resorts and other such places either in Crimea, or Krasnodar, or on the Georgian Black Sea coast, or in all three (Putin's next target, in fact: he's currently planning to take over the Georgian coast and build a Naval Port since the Ukrainians have been so effective attacking Sevastopol and other Crimean ports...). They would USE each other. To full max.
Tiger337
I think any conservative country where Trump could publicly talk **** about the United States would be a mutually beneficial situation. There might be more takers than we realize, although Russia seems like a good guess. Realistically, he is not going anywhere and we will be forced to listen to his BS for the rest of his life. pfife
It's interesting to me that trumps legal defenses aren't along the lines of "I didn't crime". They're all some variety of "I'm allowed to crime".

ben9753
Trump logic: If he committed crimes, why hasn't he been charged? Trump gets charged: "What is this!! It's obvious they are out to get him! It's a witch hunt! This proves he's the victim of the deep state." Game set and match.
pfife
Kinda crazy how the GOP runs around falsely advertising "open borders" and also run around advertising how they bus and fly immigrants all around the country Seems like the trafficking cartels have a really generous partner here.
chasfh
Yeah, it’s really disappointed how nobody, including the purportedly left-wing mainstream media, is even bothering to challenge the whole “open borders” canard. There is more open border between Canada and the US than between Mexico and the US. Fewer than 20% of border crossings from the south are undocumented; during the Bush Administration it was over half.

romad1
Speaking of catheter ads...Check the polling numbers for voters over 65 in the most recent poll from PA. They have Biden over Traump 60-37 among those 65. Perhaps, these people remember pre-internet times when having multiple felonies and impeachments mattered.

pfife
Hearing chatter on Cspan that the President Hunter Biden impeachment hearings were an awesome debacle yesterday. Apparently President Hunter Biden showed up unexpectedly to the hearing w. camera crew in tow to make a documentary (presumably a slapstick comedy?) ewsieg
This Hunter thing is wild. Everything negative said about him is true, yet the GOP is so inept you can't help but rooting for him against them.
oblong
depends on which "negative" stuff you refer to. Was a drug abusing addict with a penchant for hookers? Did he use his dad's name for connections? Not sure anybody is doubting that. But somehow the GOP thinks that's relevant. It's not. He's not a government official. He's not on a ballot. He doesn't have a securit clearance. They've not given him any special treatment. It's just catnip for the uninformed and ignorant base. I think even Fox is getting fed up with them. 2
