Massachusettes Republicans like Weld and Baker tend to be Centrist and nothing like the MAGA folks.

I feel fortunate to live in a civilized state.  They actually passed some sensible gun control laws recently:

even a Maize and Blue fan can give OSU props on this one. They are moving all classes to 'asynchronous' for one day - meaning not in person, for election day. Making sure 60K will have time to stick to favorite son JD Vance.....

This is my baseless conspiracy theory, but I think Melania is voting for Harris or at least leaving the top of her ballot blank.

Nah - she may have come to hate him, but even that isn't stronger than her personal grift. If he goes to jail and losses a bunch of civil judgments, the value of her pre-nup may follow the same fate as $DJT. She's gonna vote for whatever preserves her $$$.

Benedict Trump promises to rename renamed bases after trader generals.

This is as clear an example as there is of how desperate and irrelevant this man is. The term, ‘Reaching for straws’ doesn’t begin to do this one justice.

It’s pretty incredible that there’s people in 2024 that still don’t know to expect this from him.

People honestly don’t know because the media they consume show only the best of Trump and never the worst of him, and the commentators are always praising what a great statesman he is.

That's because they watch Fox 24/7/365.

They literally hear nothing but "Trump is great" - "The Democrats are bad" - "Trump is being prosecuted unfairly" - etc.

They literally do not watch anything else but Fox.

Not true. They also watch NewsMax, OAN, RSBN, and RT.

And many of those sources make Fox News look credible.

Here in the NE, we've been subjected to Drumpf in the tabloids at least since the 80s, but that may not be true in other parts of the country.

All they know is that he portrayed a great businessman on a (fake) reality show. They thought he was a real gazillionaire

I only saw part of the show once, and thought it made him look like a (select censored word here). Then again, I was already prejudiced against him.

I won't get on people too hard for going third party now after I did it in '16. I regret that, yes, but one vote did not that election make. I just don't see how somebody can look at these two candidates and say 'Yeah, they suck equally"

One vote practically never an election makes, so you must not be hard on people who don’t vote, either.

Go for it. I am not going to tell anyone who to vote for...

As long as it's not Trump!

In a battleground state like North Carolina, a vote for anyone but Harris is in effect a vote for Trump. It is practically the same as voters who hate Trump just staying home, which the Trump campaigns absolutely wants.

Believe it or not, an absentee yes vote in college that I had on a local school levy led to a one vote victory. I do get on people for not voting in local elections, in part because of that, and in part because that is where the power is going.

A write-in vote or a Republican staying home is objectively better than a vote for Trump.

How about when a Democrat or independent staying home? The problem definitely isn't Republicans staying home because they turn out in droves, even as they condemn democracy. When turnout is suppressed, Republicans win.

A Democrat or Independent staying home is bad, but it's still not a vote for Trump.  Anyway, I don't the get the feeling that 1776 is a Democrat.  He sounds more like an old school Republican who dislikes Trump.

Expecting old school Republicans to win the election for Harris is unrealistic.  We need to get the lazy/disinterested liberal youth to vote.

Nevertheless, he would be fine if Trump were to be president again.

If the vote in 1776's state is with him writing in Liz:

Trump 14,357,129

Harris 13,926,234

It would have been this if he voted for Harris:

Trump 14,357,129

Harris 13,926,235

It would have been this if he voted for Trump:

Trump 14,357,130

Harris 13,926,236

The first and third totals are not the same. Therefore a write-in is not a vote for Trump. I'm tried of the left gaslighting on that.
