The term, mentioned here before, is "thermostatic response".... and it generally comes for all incoming Presidents (including the incoming one during his first term)

Your "direct" question in response to a point about Donald Trump's support (or perceived support) in the black community was to ask about a completely different candidate and Oprah.

I don't think anyone will ever bail on Trump. He's not called "Orange Jesus" simply because of his bronzing routine.

The premise that there would even be a issue with Kamala paying Oprah is never challenged because you're so caught up in whether it's even true or not. Which is all a diversion from the fact that it had nothing to do with the original discussion about black support for Trump. You guys should know better by now.

It's common knowledge Trump promises payment but never delivers. It's also common knowledge that most of the people sitting behind him are recruited online thru places like Craigslist, which is probably used anymore by Trumpers. They also recruit thru Nextdoor.

If any bands participated, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them took some money to cover costs.  Kid Rock or Cardi B don't need any money to go do an event, but they'd build some discourse amongst their touring staff if techs and others are pulled away for a few days to work for free because some rich person wants to root for their favorite politician.  Sounds like Cardi B paid that out of her pocket, but if she wanted to support Kamala and accepted some money to cover her costs, there is nothing wrong with that either.  

And honestly, even if they did pay, who cares?  If they think it'll help them, do it.  Kind of funny Kamala is getting trolled for paying people where Trump is the one that would stiff people.
