romad1
Just rethinking the "slot open" at the DNC story. Jamie Gangel is the Bush family's stenographer almost. Hmmm...

RatkoVarda
i don't necessarily object to W (except for all the war criming), but seems like a high risk move which could lead to booing

Motor City Sonics
It'll be Taylor Swift and after she will be interviewed and will say that she never had any intention of being there, but once Trump posted that fake endorsement, she changed her mind.

Well I would say whatever she would get from a divorce, you know like half of what he has, but I do think it would take more than $40,
Motor City Sonics
Could be Cindy McCain - or John Kelly with a speech about knowing the real Trump and what honor and valor really mean. John Kelly might have been one of a handful of people that kept things from getting much worse,

If they had someone waiting and ready to arrest him for war crimes on live TV at a convention that would be awesome. If they allow a war criminal like DubyaMD to speak at their convention that will be both a moral failing and a political mistake. The only place George W. Bush belongs is in a prison in the Hauge for committing war crimes and using chemical weapons against human beings during war. Mr.TaterSalad
I hope it's one of Beyonce or Taylor Swift in that mystery block of time. That would do more to excite our base than having a war criminal speak on stage.
Mr.TaterSalad
Hundreds-of-thousands of Iraqi civilians died during the unlawful and immoral invasion of Iraq by George W. Bush. A war that was based on false pretenses, fabricated or doctored intelligence reports, and outright lies. Not to mention the 4,431 brave servicemembers of the US Military who lost their life in combat in Iraq. It is a moral failing to allow this man to speak at the convention. Motown Bombers
Jesus, we’re trying to win an election. Bush is not going to be a cabinet member. He’ll just recede to his ranch and paint. If he can help flip independents and moderate republicans, then let’s do it. Enough with these purity contests.
Motown Bombers
They let Obama speak even though he’s become close with a war criminal. He’s not pure! They even let Biden speak who voted to invade Iraq.

Mr.TaterSalad
7 minutes ago, Motown Bombers said: They let Obama speak even though he’s become close with a war criminal. He’s not pure! They even let Biden speak who voted to invade Iraq. Barack Obama and Joe Biden didn't fabricate or doctor intelligence reports to gin up support for the Iraq War. They didn't make up connections between Saddam and Al-Qaeda. They didn't say that Saddam was looking to buy yellow cake uranium from Niger to enrich uranium and build a nuclear weapon. They didn't say that aluminum rods and tubes were used for WMDs and chemical weapons. They didn't send Colin Powell to the UN to read out an intelligence report that was largely baseless and built on lies. They didn't condone the use of human torture like waterboarding, sicking dogs on people, and on. Abu Garib didn't happen under their watches as Commanders in Chief. They didn't authorize the use of use chemical weapons and drop white phosphorous bombs on human beings in Fallujah. DubyaMD did all of that.
