The politics are more on the center left, but rhetoric and imagery of this convention could have easily been seen in a different era at a GOP Convention. I got nervous the first minute or two because she sounded a little flakey, but after that she took off. She showed strength and normalcy, there was no sign of any radicalism and she hit all the right points. She nailed it. You know I don't like politics the way most of you do. I am generally skeptical even of the Democrats, but I've heard some great speeches the last few nights. I think Big Gretch was good but not awesome. She did her job. The best of those not doing something overtly emotive like the gun violence survivors/advocates (inc. Giffords) was Adam Kinzinger. He nailed his job. Mark Kelly you could tell was not on the ticket for a reason after that speech. Kamela came on stage at that place when I was so tired that i had started blacking out.
