This doesn't answer the question.  But nice attempt at distraction.

Your question was a deflection from the actual conversation. So yes, I ignored it.

So I ask you, do we arrest and jail ANYONE with zero evidence based on an unproven allegation? I’m ready to listen when and if this woman can produce some evidence that this actually happened. Thirty one years since, likely no evidence. My point isn’t intended to be political. Change the names and I’m still where I am on this.

The evidence would be her testimony in a court of law.

There is almost never evidence in sexual assault cases.  Nobody is going to see it happening and unless it is reported immediately there isn't going to be physical evidence.  It's usually going to be the man's word versus the woman's word, which is why so many men get away with it, often repeatedly.  In Trump's case, it is virtually impossible for me to believe that he has not sexually assaulted women.  It fact, he has bragged about doing so.  I think even most of his supporters know he has done stuff although I think a lot of them are OK with it because "they probably deserved it".

Trump is campaigning in Traverse City? I would think he would campaign somewhere a little more populated.

People in populated areas don't like him.

TC is a satellite city for places like Cadillac and Grayling, so it makes sense.

But showing up 3-4 hours late to a rally is pretty disrespectful of people's time.

OK, I really can't argue with this. If the WP came out in print and said our owner and publisher is afraid of Trump's retaliation if he's elected so we're not endorsing anyone it would probably better accepted.

And... it's common for victims to not come forward, or to come forward decades later-for the reasons you've listed.

And ugh... am I the only one seeing the Drumpf ads on this page? I'm also getting pro-Deaton pop ups.

I think it's a google thing. It's happening more and more to me on other sites as well

Good to know. It is kind of funny that the ad is saying that we need to 'beat Harris and the billionaires.' Huh?

The left has been aching for political violence. Praying for a spark to explode. Now, the 12th round push to make Trump Hitler. I am sure this old, probably paid actor has no idea what he is talking about.

So on the heels of the WaPo and LAT stories, the NYT OP-ED today has a multi-segment multimedia take down of Trump on the theme of "He says horrible things and you need to believe him" that goes on for 8 sections. This is about the 3rd big anti-trump piece the Ed Board has run on the OP-ED page. This piece is a full on direct argument for against voting for Trump. There is no shading of the editorial board's position, yet the piece never even mentions who the alternative is. Only mentions Harris' name once and that only in relations to political enemies Trump has threatened.

Will they leave it at this or will they write a Harris endorsement tomorrow or hold it for the Sunday, or do nothing else? Stayed tuned for the next installment of "As the MSM turns"

Trump regularly calls his political opponents fascists, marxists and communists.

Do you think he's "aching for violence" when he engages in that language?

Trump has brought it all on himself.  He has used Nazi rhetoric and promoted violence on many occasions.  He is nothing even close to Hitler at this time, but he sure seems fascinated with the idea.  He has also accused Harris of being fascist and communist  **** him!

Also seems really interested using the power of the state to go after people he doesn't like, per his words today.

Is there specific safe-space word we are allowed to use to describe this?

So that’s a crime? That’s just vulgarity and stupidity.

What is this, 1955?

Yes, of course grabbing a person’s genitalia in a nonconsensual manner is a crime, ranging anywhere from battery to criminal sexual assault, depending on the state.

Hitler used to do that **** all the time. Builds a tension that gets released in a wave of euphoria. Or at least it did for Hitler.
