Considering younger women are extremely motivated and already voting at a higher rate than men, I'll take the women.

It's honestly women of any demographic.... same damn story all down the line.

The media has talked about the Barstool Bros and Theo Von and all the rest so much during this cycle, but at the end of the day, Trump is marketing to a demo that (historically) doesn't show up when the chips are down.

People talk about the upside, or just assume that it will happen, but it's far from a guarantee...

Trump is going to win.

Dobbs/Roe vs Wade means nothing to any woman I know.

They are all voting for Trump.

January 6th means nothing to anyone I know - it is simply a day after January 5th but before January 7th.

They are all voting for Trump.

The people I know enjoy the fact that they can now be openly racist.

They also hate America and democracy and always have.

Trump granted them this "right" in 2016 and it is a "right" they want to continue to have.

To turn a phrase "They aren't going back."

Do you think tens of thousands less people will vote for Harris than voted for Biden, or that tens of thousands more people who enjoy being openly racist exist now than existed in 2020?

I know Trump supporters too. The ones I know have quieted down their passion since 2020, and certainly since 2016. They'll still likely vote for Trump as far as I know. But elections are won across a populace, not by the people me or you know personally.

About 95% of the people I know are voting for Harris. That doesn't mean she's going to win the election. I'm aware that you're in a swing state and I am not, of course.

And yeah, I agree with others, you need to find better people to hang out with.

Kamala Harris generally is about 7-10 points more popular than Donald Trump in most polls.

She is more likeable than Trump.  Who isn't?  That doesn't mean people think she would be a good president.  A lot of people think he's good at the economy because he's a wealthy business man.  I think that's stupid, but I'm just one vote.

Yes - I believe then of thousands of people who voted for Biden are now going to either not vote or vote for Trump.

They simply aren't going to vote for a black women under any circumstance.

Yes - I believe there are tens of thousands of more people that are openly racist now then there were in 2020.  Generation Z is now of voting age. As far they are concerned Trump has been "President" half their life. All they know is his blatant racism which they exuberantly replicate. They hate all people who are not white and heterosexual.

They simply aren't going to vote for a black women under any circumstance.

And yes - I need to know better people but that isn't about to change any time soon.

Again, just because you hang around racists doesn't mean that the entire country is. Harris will win the Gen Z vote. That isn't even in question.

Polls have lately shown that she has closed the gap with him on the economy, and his decision to run ads talking about trans issues and immigration also exclusively seems to suggest that might be the case.

I've been disappointed by white women voters before, especially my fellow Gen Xers.

But she is not Biden and has a higher approval rating than Biden.

And more significantly, her approval rating is higher than trumps.
No doubt she is going to lose some votes compared to Biden from misogyny, but she’s going to pick a lot because she is a woman and also because she is next gen (remember Haley’s proposition that whichever side didn’t run an old guy was going to win. )

I think she will do better with women that will more than offset losses with men. Women aren't rushing out in early voting to vote for Trump.

But she's not the President.  People might think she is fineas VP, but not ready to be President.

I am not trying to be negative.  I don't know who's going to win.  I just think there are numerous reasons why people wouldn't want to vote for her, superficial or otherwise.

So what you are trying to say is that despite Harris having a higher approval rating in all polls, including right wing ones, than Trump or Biden, she somehow has a lower approval rating because she's not president, even though Trump is not president and had a lower approval rating when he was? Or even how polls show that people who disapprove of Biden approve of Harris?

So, why does she have a higher approval rating than Trump even in right wing polls, but she is losing the presidential polls conducted by the same right wing polling orgs?  My guess is that people like her more than Trump, but don't think she would be a good President.

It seems like you are just cherry picking every poll where she looks good and ignoring all he polls where Trump looks good.
