Nothing to see here. The weak October report also included substantial downward revisions from previous months. August was cut to just a gain of 78,000 while September’s initial estimate came down to 223,000. Together, the net revisions lowered previously reported job creation totals by 112,000. Cool story. That was my immediate first impression of the complaints about this job report: the fact that we spent the last three years being told how jobs reports were irrelevant and CPI was what mattered. Sign of the times I guess... Lol Quote

Reports are that half the registered voters here in North Carolina have already casts their votes. The voting site nearest us has consistently had wait times of 1.5 hours or greater. Thankfully the weather was pleasant this morning. Quote

oblong Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 The restaurant Trump is going to in Dearborn is The Great Commoner. More of a breakfast and lunch outfit, they close at 9. No alcohol, many places here don't serve it because some devout Muslims can't even be at a place that sells it so they don't bother. It's quality food for sure, but also expensive, not worth it to me.... but we found out recently the owner makes homophobic comments so we don't plan on going back. For some people Gaza can be overlooked if they share hate of other people. Quote
romad1 Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Each of Trump's death threats is aimed at a different audience. The next Vice President, GOP chairperson of an investigative committee or the next CJCS know that unsatisfactory service to his needs will result in death. How is he still close? Lets hope its a landslide against him in fact. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Poll has Trump up 5 in ME-02. He won it by 7 in 2020. More district level polling going in Harris favor and this is a rural white district. The polling also had Golden winning big. Quote

It’s at the same level it was before COVID. If they were cooking books, I would think they would make the revisions after the election. Revisions are common. They happened under Trump too. Quote
