That argument never worked in high school (term papers) and still doesn’t work today

Unfortunately, it has appeared to work with his supporters multiple times...

It's clear that his main focus is the PA/GA/NC path and that isn't too surprising (he's going to GR, but that's more for superstition than anything since he always ends there).

But yeah, going to NC more than PA/GA makes me wonder if they see something there that we aren't

Plus add gov't fudging the numbers all year. They have not got a month right for a long while now. Nothing to see here.

The weak October report also included substantial downward revisions from previous months. August was cut to just a gain of 78,000 while September’s initial estimate came down to 223,000. Together, the net revisions lowered previously reported job creation totals by 112,000.

Cool story.

Now that inflaion is under control, it appears that you are looking for a new economic problem that doesn't really exist.

That was my immediate first impression of the complaints about this job report: the fact that we spent the last three years being told how jobs reports were irrelevant and CPI was what mattered.

Sign of the times I guess... Lol

My wife and I waited over an hour this morning to execute our civic duty. Reports are that half the registered voters here in North Carolina have already casts their votes. The voting site nearest us has consistently had wait times of 1.5 hours or greater. Thankfully the weather was pleasant this morning.

Worked in 2016.

It may work again unfortunately. I’ve spent enough time doing volunteer customer service, information desk stuff to know that we are outnumbered by clueless people

The restaurant Trump is going to in Dearborn is The Great Commoner.   More of a breakfast and lunch outfit, they close at 9. No alcohol, many places here don't serve it because some devout Muslims can't even be at a place that sells it so they don't bother.  It's quality food for sure, but also expensive, not worth it to me.... but we found out recently the owner makes homophobic comments so we don't plan on going back.

For some people Gaza can be overlooked if they share hate of other people.

Each of Trump's death threats is aimed at a different audience.  The next Vice President, GOP chairperson of an investigative committee or the next CJCS know that unsatisfactory service to his needs will result in death.

How is he still close?  Lets hope its a landslide against him in fact.

If he in fact loses, one of the many benefits will be the possibility of never hearing "but 2016" ever again

I'm guilty as anyone of using the "but 2016" argument. That said, it will be nice to be potentially be able to put that argument to bed once and for all if we pull this off.

It is? I had no idea inflation was fixed alrready. You also have no problem with cooking the books month to month? I bet you a diet coke that the October numbers will be downgraded even more by next month.

It is. It’s at the same level it was before COVID. If they were cooking books, I would think they would make the revisions after the election. Revisions are common. They happened under Trump too.

When is that Cancer infecting our hometown, Oblong?     I frequently shop at Westborn Market (the corn salad is great!).   I want to avoid going anywhere near that walking bag of puss.
