That first sign of a bad seed, the second being they own burglary tools and you can find a ski mask in their car in June. I am very forgiving generally. So long as you’re not doing crazy stuff like gambling in a company hotel, taking a prescribed medication without telling your employer, or not getting a CPL and storing a weapon under your seat with your CPL carrying brother in a car, you’re alright in my book. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Random thought; ever since abortion went on the ballot in Michigan, the Lions have been the best team in the NFL. 1 Quote

They absolutely do think that. They are a lost people. Just talked to a male relative who is in his 80's and pro-choice especially for his granddaughters. However, he was Hitler Jugend and thus voted for Trump. Quote
oblong Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Two ATL precincts get extended hours after a bomb threat. Maybe that’s the strategy. Contest those votes after the election as “unfair” Quote

Motown Bombers Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Haven't seen anything about the turnout numbers in Detroit yet. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Florida isn't looking great so probably have to wait until North Carolina for a sign. However, Texas looks like it could be good. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 GOP based pundits are already talking about the 2004 returns where Kerry jumped out to a big lead...something weird is happening https://x.com/brianklaas/status/1853930198586249451?s=61&t=akgNyUltuSb7RN54lulxTw Quote Trump already straight up lying and laying the groundwork to reject the election result is itself further proof he must be kept out of any real power. He’s an authoritarian demagogue and will do everything he can to torch America’s institutions to save himself. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 You can tell it’s early early because the CNN anchors still have their suits buttoned. Quote

I’m glad the Trump campaign chose to not make every commercial and talking point be about the economy and democracy since they are the key issues. Instead, they made Immigration (11%) and Transgender issues (not even listed) huge talking points for their campaign. I must have seen their stupid anti-trans ad 100 times and it’s just not an issue with voters. Thank you morons. Quote
TP_Fan Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Fubo tv doesn’t carry cnn (or any turner) so I’m with msnbc tonight. Quote

casimir Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Wow, almost zero wait. Walked in, was the only one in line to wait for check in, got checked in, threw down my checkmarks, and then split. Literally couldn’t have been there more than five minutes. Now that I think about it, I probably should’of grabbed a few ballots since it was that quick. Quote
LaceyLou Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Somebody in a FB group I'm in shared that people in Nevada need to answer their phones, in case their ballots need to be 'cured.' Anybody who knows people from Nevada should share. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Democrats are really looking good in Nevada. Republicans were already spiking the ball. The Harry Reid Machine may not be broken after all. Quote

I hope Biden has the energy to generate a worthwhile response to this. Giving the Ukrainians a free hand with their arsenal would be a good start. Edited November 5, 2024 by gehringer_2 Quote
