I’m not sure they will replace polling as the main predictor but they are clearly no longer an afterthought anymore.

As a person who lives in a state that tends to pay more to the federal government than it receives back in services, I have to ask the people (mostly in red states) who benefit: Does this mean you don't want our money any more? And if that's the case, can we have the money we've already sent back?

I hate that I'm thinking this way. That said, that's what they voted for.

Add this to the list of voting segments that just don’t make sense.   He’s the more pro-Israel candidate.

Yes, all those Anti-Socialsm people who take disability (when they can work), or welfare or unemployment.     Send back that stimulus money or you're a fraud.

But ultimately, the shift in rural areas and stagnation in the suburbs/exurbs are what did her in more than anything else, at least in Michigan.

Well then why has Anti-Semitic attacks gone through the roof since he announced his candidacy in 2015?        He was already blaming Jews if he lost.

I know a family member who complains about Socialism, but he's been collecting Disability for more than 20 years,  but builds decks on the side.    I'm gonna rat him out now.

I think the future of Gaza Strip, West Bank and maybe parts of Lebanon over the next few years will be further annexation by Israel , establishment of a DMZ, and then Bibi will move settlers in.

Trump branded beach front condos being built in Gaza is not that far fetched

Not in our family.  The only Trumper in our family cheated on his wife (my neice) and now shes getting a divorce.  Typical MAGA!  My whole family is now either anti-Trump or disinterested.

That said, I have to make plans. I'd already decided to become more active in transit and housing groups, but looks like my plan to work with FEMA won't be happening. 

I don't know how much I can do, but I'd like to see if I can preserve some of the sense of empathy and services that exist in my state.

Welp, once again.  They'll screw up the economy and a Democrat will come in after and straighten it out, but not fast enough and we'll go right back to it.

Won't be anymore FEMA in a few years.    You're on your own.  (States that all voted for him too).

As soon as Drumpf takes office, he will suddenly be given credit for how good the economy is, and how much inflation is slowing down.

I think so but also other cultural issues such as gay marriage, etc.

In that sense theyre like many voters throughout the USA who just typically deemphasize foreign policy and issues in their voting
