The Dems best move get the working man back is sit back and let Trump **** everything up with Tarrifs, union busting, overtime rules, and skyrocketing healthcare.

As long as he keeps men out of women's sports and guts that part of the assistance programs that helps BIPOC people the most, the working man will consider the Trump presidency a win.

Left needs to go French Revolution and make the 1% the enemy. Let them eat cake. The ignorant only understand fear and hate but they need it pointed in the right direction.

Won't ever happen, because they think it's the upper 1% that makes Americas truly great.

I actually agree with this quite a bit. I think of Trump reignited inflation, caused the fed to have to raise interest rates yet again, enabled recession conditions, and created food and labor shortages with mass deportations that could be a death knell.

I'd like to think you're right, but they will blame Democrats for screwing up those things even though they had nothing to do with it, and it'll probably work.

He will get credit for lower CPI numbers, good stock market numbers, etc even though such numbers are looking good already.

They keep showing me this four point chart which they think proves that the Democrats stole 20,000,000 votes in 2020.

The problem is, Biden has set up a soft landing to the current economic issues caused by Trump and the pandemic, which was never brought up. They'll suck Trump's **** for lowering interest rates and inflation.  He'll give away Ukraine to Russia, but he'll be commended for being the peacemaker. He'll deport as many brown people as he can, and the Pro Life God Fearing crowd will cheer. Another million people will die from the next pandemic and the scientific community will tell you it's just a hoax, and masks don't work anyway. The fatties deserve to die anyway.  By the time the **** ups come to fruition, it'll be election season again and they'll blame Biden and the liberals with zero pushback and preach unity and working across the aisle.  Trump will decide to stay in office, Constitution be damned, and the Dems will just sit there with their heads up their asses patting them selves on the back for being classy and playing by the rules.  Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

I haven’t been here in ages but thought I would stop by to see how bad the sky is falling with the far left.   I have missed your humor but not the aggrivation.

As usual I saw a lot of bad information and needless fear mongering but one comment I saw deserved a reply. It said people wouldn’t vote for a woman or a black person. I don’t believe this at all. There are some racist people in the US and everywhere for that matter but it’s not the masses.  Harris didn’t lose the election because she is a woman and isn’t white.  She lost the election because she was a tremendously bad candidate.  She is the worst candidate I can remember in my lifetime.  She had nothing to offer and most of her platform was based on false information.  She wouldn’t answer a question and the more she was in public the more votes she lost.

To make matters worse she selected an even worse candidate with her running mate in Walz.  That guy is a nutcase and did nothing but add misery to the campaign.  If she would have picked Shapiro it might have helped but probably wouldn’t overcome her shortcomings.

So don’t worry.  It’s a great time for all Americans including the far left.  The sky isn’t falling.

The percentage of hateful racist people on the right might get exaggerated here, but there is no question that Trump has been campaigning on racism for 9 years.

Do you believe the number of people who would not vote for a candidate because they are black or a woman is zero?

Yup.

Somebody I forgot I was connected with on FB posted something for Democrats saying that we should write down everything we were afraid would happen, so that we could be relieved when none of it happened.

Kind of hard to do that when some of the stuff is already happening.

Well, if the Republicans finally start insisting that he act like a reasonable human being and keep policies that benefit people.... I have my doubts.

Clean air and clean energy should be a no brainer.

Amazing how every subsequent candidate that the Democratic Party has run throughout my life has been "the worst candidate I've ever seen"...

I've been around 36 years (literally today), and have can remember every election since 2000... I've been hearing the same types of people saying this **** every four years since. No real thought behind it, no nuance, just the same buzzwords over and over.

Just not worth engaging, guys.

This is a tremendously bad post.  Maybe the worst post I can remember in my lifetime.

A lot of it comes down to the fact that he needs Congress to get legislation passed, and he could have as small as a 220-215 GOP majority to work with. And a lot of these guys have things that were contained in various Biden bills (such as Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, CHIPS Act, Inflation Reduction Act) that contain stuff that benefits said Congressperson's district.

Even if he leans on them, the ability to contain such a small majority is incredibly difficult. We learned that throughout the 118th Congress, and the 119th probably isn't gonna be any easier for Mike Johnson to corral.

I don't consider you far right. If you were you'd be all MAGA all the time, and I don't hear that from you.

But you did refer to me as "extreme left" which, by definition, means the outer edges or limits, meaning no ideology is more left-wing than mine, including communism, Marxism, and anarchism. Those ideologies would be right in my wheelhouse, or even to the right of me, if I am on the extreme left. Is that really what you meant to put across here?

I’ll take this to mean you agree that I am not extreme left after all.

Congratulations, you won your own purity contest.

Oh, I havent forgotten you, pal. I’m still waiting for receipts from you that I’m “extreme left”. Until you produce them, you’re full of **** on this one.
