Deporting any large chunk of the undocumented worker population will also be very inflationary as it will drive up entry level wages across the economy as employers are force to pay to attract workers who have status to avail themselves of labor standards etc. Personally I think that it will be great for that to happen. It will really lift the bottom 10-20% of US workers.  I think the big reason it was so hard to get political agreement on path to citizenship was not so much because there have ever been large numbers of people who wanted to see mass deportation, but because the Chamber of Commerce class has always known that the effect on wages would percolate all through the economy. Now with Trump, the people that have for years only talked a big game on immigration are going to have to deal with closing the border and deporting people. Rover has caught the UPS truck -we'll see if he can avoid getting run over.

I've always believed it has been immoral policy for the US to allow people to stay but not give them a route to citizenship because the only reason to do that is to maintain an ability to exploit their labor unfairly.

I have watched it. I'm all for making America more healthy and offering people better options as to what we serve people, our kids and what we put in our food. Anti-vax conspiracy theorist RFK Jr. believes that part of making people healthier, kids in particular, is to take them off the safe and effective childhood vaccination schedule. That's completely contradicting all the science we have and will get people killed. He could undermine vaccine sciences and create mistrust in it that would cause generations of harm.

The one good thing I heard out of him was doctors getting more training in nutrition. Too many doctors just throw pills at people with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Diet is an important part of maintaining a healthy weight, way too many Americans are obese. But all in all, RFK is going to kill countless people.

Most red, welfare states underperform blue, giver states. Red states contribute less to overall GDP and thus less to the federal government. They then become welfare states by getting more from the feds than they ever contribute back into the federal government.

MA is definitely a great place to live.

It isn't perfect though-unfortunately the cost of housing is very high so a lot of people end up having to leave. 

I'm in several groups of YIMBYs but it will take time for things to change-and this is only if we're able to make changes.

I know which poll you are talking about.  It turned out to be a poor poll. How does she benefit from that and why does she need to be investigated?
