This really is old news. I am 100% in favor of dismantling the drug cartels. He has promoted it through his whole presidential campaign….

The house fluctuates over the course of the two years. I'm assuming Waltz and Gaetz districts are lost causes, but maybe Stefanic's district flips? Who knows who else resigns, gets arrested, dies, etc...

The most recent congress started at R+9. It shrunk to as little as R+4 and expanded to R+10 at points.

I thought he was the anti-war candidate??? Putting boots on the ground in a sovereign country doesn't sound very anti-war to me.

I didn't think that she sounded much different than she usually does, but I am not concerned with how fast people speak.  The right used to make fun off Obama's deliberate pauses in his speech even though he can talk circles around any of them.

We were told throughout this election that Trump was Cindy Sheehan and now reports are coming out that he wants to use the military in a sovereign country like Mexico. Doesn't seem very anti-war to me and yes, seems like horrible policy.

He may well be stopped again despite assumptions otherwise.  For example, Congress wants to stay in power and while they will vote conservatively, they are aren't going to vote for something radical.  He may get some resistance in other areas - military, law suits, federal reserve, etc.

MAGAs don’t think bombing Mexico is radical. They think it’s rad.

I do think they’d get more than 200 votes to authorize, but i don’t think they’d get 218+ votes. That’s why Trump will give an order direct to the military and dare Congress to do anything about it.

The first thing the supposed populists are talking about getting rid of is the Consumer Financial Protections Bureau so that big corporations can rip consumers off. The CFPB has saved consumers millions and you've got Vivek and Elon out there dogging it. Thought this was supposed to be a populist government???

The military will be key the next four years.  As long as they keep Trump under control, we can continue with our oligarchy.  In fact, they'll likely use Trump to strengthen the oligarchy.

Interesting, I went to a Friday night football game in Georgia about a month ago, and they did pledge of allegiance in addition to national anthem. That was new to me, although not at all surprising.
