Tigeraholic1 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) Kauffman Stadium - Kansas City, MO TV: Ballysports Detroit Radio: WXYT forecast LHP Tarik Skubal vs RHP Brady Singer Edited July 13, 2022 by Tigeraholic1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 I know we're in the same division so it is kinda expected but I swear it seems like we've faced Singer an inordinate number of times in his young career. Quote
1776 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Is there another person on this team that would have had the balls to do what Cabrera did yesterday? I know he’s been in the league forever and has seen it all, but that was a sweet take of third base. He probably has the oldest legs on the team. Why don’t younger players have this kind of mindset? The Tigers clearly don’t teach this and most likely don’t encourage it. Miggie forced an error by doing what he did. This is baseball. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) It reminds me of when Sheffield was here, granted even at the state he was in he was like Usain Bolt compared to Cabrera but in general he wasn't that fast but he would often do those type of things and steal bags by catching the other team napping. Tigeraholic1 Posted July 13, 2022 Author Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) LOL, I remember watching this live. Edited July 13, 2022 by Tigeraholic1 Quote
kdog Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Jonathan Corpse gets the bases loaded with nobody out and strikes out. Castro hits a sac fly. Candelario flies out. You get 1 run out of it. Just a disaster. Quote
Shinzaki Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Skubal with a called 3rd strike on a 100MPH (!) FB...that's prime JV territory there Quote
John_Brian_K Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Tagged his knee..this is how we scrape runs. Bases loaded nobody out and get 1, try to score Schoop from 2nd on a liner to the OF... Quote

kdog Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 An unserious team will count on Schoop to be a core player next year. His performance this year does not justify thinking he's the second baseman in 2023. Quote
kdog Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 I don't care if Schoop has 300 DRS. You can't be that crappy of a hitter. Quote
kdog Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 This garbage outfit can ruin any promising player we have. Al sucks. Quote

He has never been close to this bad as a hitter. And he is still only 30. Maybe he's done, but I would bet he has a season next year closer to his norm. If he does he's worth keeping. 1 Quote
RatkoVarda Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 I like Hinch, but they have way too many sloppy innings and lifeless games, and that's on him 1 Quote
