I am not going to rip on the guy because he's trying his best.  He sounds a little forced, but when you hear someone else do Tigers Play-By-Play it makes you realize just how freaking good Dan Dickerson really is.

Greg Gania isn't DD, but he's pretty darned good. He would sound good on Bally Sports Detroit

Oh, not ripping him.  He just sounds a little forced, but I am sure Dan did at the beginning too.   Yes, he would be a far cry from the snoozefest on TV.

We used to laugh about this years ago, the guy who plays center has to lead off and be a base-stealer.

Will say this for Fister... not charismatic or polished in the booth, but he's as sharp as Avila Jr. in terms of knowing the game.

Candelario hits it about 400ft but it's ends up in the CF's glove. Good to see him put together another good swing nonetheless.

So, way back in the Spring there were folks here advocating a trade to get Montas. Who were we thinking from our side would get it down?

That's exactly right, his OPS is .612 but he has intangibles up to here.
