buddha Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 hard to believe javy baez finished second in the mvp voting just a few years ago. Quote
chasfh Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 How baseball is it that Mr Swing At Everything strikes out looking to end the inning? Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I was just about to question the wisdom of running Soto out there for a second inning, and, well, look at that. Quote
chasfh Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Now that was bad luck. Soto got his soft contact and Javy couldn’t make the tough throw to first. Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 remember the 5 minutes when the Tigers had a chance to win this? that was fun. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 why do managers and coaches always have to get ahead of themselves? You have a reliever that hasn't come back out a 2nd time since June 5 (when he lost) and a game you might be able to win and you can't help changing it up. Quote

My guess is he doesn't want to pitch Chafin or Vest who pitched yesterday? It was an odd decision Quote
