kdog Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Baez has to be like the 5th best player on a good team. Not a building block or change agent type at all. Quote

kdog Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 The euphemism "dumb as a box of rocks" comes to mind with this team. Quote
Tigermojo Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 At least in the booth they can talk about a great team. A team from almost 40 years ago but a great team. Quote
Tigermojo Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 They just said it's Miggy's right knee which has been causing him a lot of pain the last three weeks. Quote

It's always been the back leg he has to drive from. For the last couple of years, you can watch him hit and when the right knee doesn't hurt he can stride and when he can stride he can drive the ball. When the knee is barking, he can't put enough weight on the right knee to pickup his left leg to step and drive, so he hits flatfoot - all arms and no power. He's strong enough he can drive the ball through the IF without his legs. but that's it. Quote

kdog Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Hutchison pitched decently. The offense and defense are an abomination and Lange's numbers are starting to regress a bit. Quote

kdog Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Soto, Chafin, and Jimenez do wonders for a team that is this bad offensively and defensively. It's almost like they have less value on a horrendous team. Quote
