No, the real issue was when in some team literature they listed Mike & Marion Illitch as the owners (which we all know is true), but then Marion had interest in Motor City Casino and when baseball inquired about that, they blamed team publicist Dan Ewald, who was friends with Sparky and Sparky defended Dan and that really pissed off the family. The more I learn about the Illitch's, the more I realize how/why Chris is such a dipshit..and the more I'd love for him to just sell the team. They may very well have overtaken the Ford fam at this point. Quote
