I believe they mentioned earlier in the game he is the backup snapper too, totally a thankless position, you're never going to get praised for doing it right but if things go wrong you're going to be at the center of attention. RandyMarsh Posted October 30, 2022 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I know MSU isn't good but this was the healthiest they've been all season getting back some key players they didn't have earlier and they of course treated this game as their season so this isn't just a normal win against a 3-4 team. They may try a similar play in the future but run different routes with the receivers which would completely throw off the other team. To add to this it's the same reason Ryan Day ran that fake punt against Rutgers when they were up a billion. Do you think he really cared if they won by a billion or a billion + 7?
