MichiganCardinal Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 7-7 at the half... Final may very well be 14-7, one way or the other. It's a downpour with 50mph gusts. Quote

I’ve got OSU 28-7final I think this is a fair prediction. Stroud has to show he can make a throw in the conditions though too to score three more TDs, any team in America should be able to shut down the run if it’s all they’ve got. Quote
Hongbit Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) I don’t get Northwestern. They care enough to stay in the B1G even though they’d probably dominate in most sports if they moved to a lower conference. At the same time, they don’t care enough to have any accountability for Pat Fitzgerald and have essentially given him a job for life. Same for Chris Collins on the basketball side. When someone is there for that long they basically become a part of the walls. Same with Kirk Ferentz at Iowa. Too many friends in too many places to hold accountable. Especially when you’re Northwestern and the expectations are tempered to begin with. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 They survived but they were very lucky to. Hopefully that provides something of a blueprint for Michigan (other than hoping for bad weather). Quote
Hongbit Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 They are still without the most explosive player in the county. They are going to be scary on offense if they get Smith-Njigba back to go with Harrison and Egbuka. Quote

Northwestern has a lot of really positive variables. Their alumni base is rich enough to fund a new stadium for every 4 year cycle of players. They have from what I understand a really nice campus, on the lake of Lake Michigan. The fact that they recruit nationally for kids interested in the Northwestern academics means they could be Stanford. But, man...the rest of it...hot garbage. Quote
buddha Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 in reality, they shouldnt be in the big ten. the big ten is large state run midwestern universities with good academics and really good graduate programs. northwestern is a smaller private school that doesnt have the larger research programs and facilities like most big ten schools. great school, highest "ranked" academic undergrad in the big ten. but not a fit otherwise. theyre like notre dame except they dont cheat at football recruiting. lordstanley Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Took some effort with multiple snaps inside the 2, but Michigan is 1 for 1 in the red zone so far. Quote

romad1 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 This game has all the ear marks of second half adjustments. Quote
buddha Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 welp. so much for passing ohio state. they might be looking at the citrus bowl after this debacle. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Moody misses his 2nd field goal as UM goes into the half trailing 17-14. Missed 2 FGs, botched punt snap for a TD, a couple missed tackles that led to big gains and missed throws by JJ. Oh yeah also needed 4 downs twice inside the 5 for their 2 scores. Other than that they haven't played that bad. Quote
smr-nj Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 I just stopped in to brag about my cousin’s son….. Who is the defensive coordinator coach for Rutgers this year…. I still have no idea what Rutgers is doing in the Big 10, but it’s nice having Joe back in Jersey. 😁❤️ 1 Quote

Hongbit Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Nice half by Schiano and Sue’s cousin. Michigan will wake up and win by more than 6.5 points. Quote

Bit I enjoyed the first half. 😁. (You have to realize, Jersey peeps don’t have a college football heritage. 😂) Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 That is atleast the third time that the announcers or graphic didn't mention the flag until after the play was done. Bush League BTN! Quote
