SoCalTiger Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 I wonder what Candy is thinking as the DH watching Kreidler play third ? Maybe Hinch trying to light a fire ? Quote

casimir Posted September 3, 2022 Author Posted September 3, 2022 It wasn’t mentioned in yesterday’s game thread, but what do we think went through Cabrera’s mind when CastroH pinch hit for him in a high leverage situation? Quote

May have an impact on how a new GM approaches the offseason, what holes they choose to fill, etc. Quote

Tenacious D Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Barnhart with a hit to the warning track? Give him credit for a HR already. 1 Quote

He just made the nice dive, pop up, and throw right over to Torkleson’s chest. Very fluid play out of him. Candelario’s offensive struggles have been well noted. His defense has slumped this season, too, but his bat has been criticized the most. He should be taking notice of what’s going on the past 11 innings Quote
mtutiger Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Since we are talking about the youngins being the reason to watch, I wouldn't be upset to see Joey Wentz get some of Pineda's starts going forward lol Quote

gehringer_2 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 So one thing I would like to see in the regime of new GM: Every year under DD and AA, there has been one pitcher - usually a journeyman starter signed in the off-season, who they spend the whole season trying to get or keep in the rotation, when the fact is that the guy is simply terrible - worse than half a dozen other options they could try but don't. This year it's been Pineda. I hope he is the last in a long string.... Quote
