MLB doesn’t care about Labor Day.  In previous seasons, they didn’t care if teams were playing or had an off day.  Make your own assumptions why.

On the bright side, for the teams that are playing, at least they aren’t wearing the trash jerseys that MLB likes to pump out there for other days.

Even when the Tigers were good they would regularly get crushed in Anaheim, so no surprise this happens when they are bad. This season can't get over with fast enough.

Only Derek Jeter’s 2019 Marlins had more among recent teams, 20 in the first 135 games. They ended up 57-105.

The 2008 Nationals had 19 through 135 as well. They finished 59-102.

This was a farce. Position player with the fist pump after a strikeout on a 68moh pitch down by 9. Ohtani seemed to have no interest in participating in the charade.

I looked up impecunious. Thanks for the new word (to me).  Means following the Tigers in September 2022 hasn’t been a total waste this month so far.
