You absolutely have to go back a long way to find a leadership so dedicated to generating human suffering as Putin's. In Europe you bascially have to go back to Hilter and Stalin, if you broaden it to worldwide there's Assad but he's small potatoes by comparison, after that your are back 50 yrs with Pol Pot or maybe the Tutsi and Hutu civil war 30 yrs ago, but that was was more like the Hindu/Muslim mass hysteria when India was partitioned - terrible carnage but as much social mass hysteria as compared to cool and efficiently planned evil where the moral responsibility was both clear and easy to locate.

So now the progressives want to negotiate with Putin. Interesting how this happens after AOC and others are heckled at townhalls.

Assholes.  Negotiate directly with Russia, as if Ukraine is some sort of US territory.  Lots of people are vying for the Neville Chamberlain award but I still like Kissinger for it.

Amazing how these progressives decide to undermine Biden's foreign policy literally weeks before an election. The most appalling one is Raskin. Imagine telling Raskin we should negotiate with the insurrectionists.

Its a bad look for sure.

I have a suspicion is that this has more to do with our dem progressives trying to re-establish their political relevance when Newsom, Federman and Tim Ryan (and Biden) types are sucking up most of the Democratic buzz, than it actually has to do with Ukraine.

It's just a bunch of grifters pandering to their cult. AOC was getting heckled over Ukraine and now this come out.

Thread is interesting.  My thinking is that it is interesting if it gives Republicans cover to actually support strong stand with Ukraine against these "Liberal whingers who hate Orange Jesus" or it might just be terrible because those NRA teet-sucklers know one thing...Russia pays good money for bad pols
