Where Do Things End With Vlad? (h/t romad1)

Just reading about the Polish and Lithuanian leaders in Kiev today saying all manner of supportive things.  Like...they sponsor Ukraine for EU membership.   I can imagine their passion might lead to some danger.   You can imagine the scenarios where Poland and others who are in the Hate Russia club might say they will fight with Ukraine and not just by proxy.

Maybe we need to take a completely different approach to avoid WW3

Let Russia take Ukraine.

Let China take Taiwan.

Lets have us take Canada.

The Canadians won’t like it at first but they will have a home country team win the Stanley Cup every year and they will be able to buy beer in the same part of the grocery store.   Those are both big wins that sovereignty can’t currently do for them.

No thanks, we don't actually want all of you. 🙂We will take New England (one province, not a bunch of dinky little ones), every state that has Great Lakes shoreline (carve out New York City, don't want it), Washington and maybe Oregon.  Maybe Alaska.  Done!

Might as well bring back the classics at that point.

Which, I was a little astonished to find, has its own Wikipedia entry.

Hmmm.  We have excellent Italian food in northern NJ.  Uncle Vinny asked me to extend an offer he said you wouldn’t refuse.

Eh…. Should’ve known Jersey’d be excluded. 😂

The first (and most important) law added would be to outlaw Canadian 🥓. However not the McDonald’s round version of the 🥓 it would become the North, North America’s officially licensed 🥓

What is NOTAMS?

Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs)

Back to Basics

A NOTAM is a notice containing information essential to personnel concerned with flight operations but not known far enough in advance to be publicized by other means. It states the abnormal status of a component of the National Airspace System (NAS) – not the normal status.

  • NOTAMs indicate the real-time and abnormal status of the NAS impacting every user.
  • NOTAMs concern the establishment, condition, or change of any facility, service, procedure or hazard in the NAS.
  • NOTAMs have a unique language using special contractions to make communication more efficient.
